Gold-plated matte metal: gold-plated surface. To avoid contamination by contact, store the piece away from any metal that might cause it to rust. Avoid scrapes and scratches, as the plating is applied only to the surface of the piece. Clean with water, pH-neutral soap and a small brush.
Cold enamel: chemically coloured surface. Avoid knocks and scrapes. Clean with water, pH-neutral soap and a 100%-cotton cloth.
